Sat 6 Nov: Members Evening. Meet at 57 Richmond Road, New Barnet at 7.30pm. Bring exhibits, holiday snaps, slides. An evening to socialise. Bring a sweet or savoury dish – coordinate with Diana.
Sun 21 Nov: Potten End & Frithsden for mosses & other winter plants. L: Graeme Smith. Meet at village centre near pond (TL 018088) at 10am. Bring lunch, hand lens & field guides.
Sun 5th Dec: Standon Area for fungi and winter wildlife. L: Kerry Robinson. Meet at Standon village centre (TL 396223) at 10am. Bring lunch, hand lens & field guides.
Sat 18 Dec: Oughtonhead N.R., Wellbury & Pirton for winter birds and great views. L: Trevor & Chris James. Meet at end of Westmill Lane, N. of Westmill, Hitchin (TL 170309) at 10am. Bring lunch, binoculars & field guides.
Sun 26 Dec: Boxing Day Ramble at Hertford Heath. Leader to be confirmed nearer the time. Meet at Jolly Pindar PH (TL 352109) at 10.30am.

Sun 9 Jan: Hilfield Park Reservoir & Aldenham for birds. L: David Pennington. Meet at Water Company car park in Hilfield Lane (TQ 153959) at 10am. Bring lunch, binoculars (telescope if you have one) & bird guide.
Sat 22 Jan: Branch Annual Meeting. Meet at Digswell Village Church Hall, Warren Way (TL 243153) at 2.30pm. Bring exhibits, a few slides or photos & sweet or savoury food to share.
Sat 29 Jan: Annual Dinner at The White Horse PH, Tewin. (under new management and not to be missed!) Booking form and menu to be circulated.
Sun 6 Feb: Lackford Lakes near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk for birds. L: Merle Gwyn. Meet at reserve car park (TL 798705) at 10.30am. (Access off A1101 between Lackford & Flempton). There is a basic visitor centre & 8 hides. Bring lunch, binoculars/scope, field quides & warm clothing. Please inform Merle if intending to join this meeting.
Sat 19 Feb: Chorleywood Common for lichens & winter wildlife. L: Andrew Harris. Meet at the Common car park (TQ 032967) at 10am. Bring lunch, hand lens & field guides.
Sun 6 Mar: Bedmond for early spring wildlife including plants. L: Peter Alton. Meet near school/pub (TL033 098) at 10am. Bring lunch, binoculars & field guides.
Sun 20 Mar: Lea Valley at Fishers Green for birds. L: June Crew. Meet at Fishers Green car park (TL 377 032) at 10am – (take Hayes Hill Farm turn off from Crooked Mile and not Fishers Green Lane). Bring lunch, binoculars & field guides. Afternoon tea at Hayes Hill Farm.
