Third Monday in April at 8 p.m. followed by talk and slide show

7-10 days approx.

Area Covered:

30 mile radius

Subjects Covered:

Flowers, Butterflies, Fungi, Trees, Dragonflies and other Insects

Evening Meetings:

Afternoon meetings on Saturdays in the winter. 5 slide shows given by members.

Annual General Meeting:

October followed by slide show.

Rambles:

Fortnightly.

Area Covered:

Hertfordshire and occasional weekends elsewhere.

Subjects Covered:

General Natural History with some species distribution recording. In-house bulletin published annually.

Evening Meetings:

2/3 indoor meetings in Autumn/Winter plus badger watch, moth trapping, photographic evening and annual dinner.

Annual General Meeting:

Late January, followed by tea and a members' slide show.

Nene & Welland Branch - visit the Branch Page

Rambles:

Field meetings on the third Sunday of each month.

Area Covered:

North Northamptonshire and parts of Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire in approximately a 25 mile radius of Corby.

Subjects Covered:

Birds, Butterflies, Insects, Flowers, Fungi, Snails, Spiders and Trees.including at least 2 visits to see water fowl each year.

Evening Meetings:

2 or 3 each year during Autumn/Winter. Members' slide evenings, guest speakers and specialist subjects.

Annual General Meeting:

2nd Sunday of October each year at approximately 4pm starting at the end of the fungus foray. Tea and biscuits provided.
