Country-Side

Country-Side is the magazine for members of the organisation and is currently produced annually.

Please see the Country-Side section for extracts from the magazine which give you a taster of what to expect. There are many regular features on meetings, rambles, conferences and the like which should be of interest to the naturalist - especially since the emphasis is on nature at your doorstep - British fauna and flora with practical guides, explanations, articles and helpful hints to make the mundane appear all the more intriguing.

Above all, we encourage involvement and participation - in writing articles/letters; in photography and in the study and documentation of findings.

Country-Side has regular features:
Environment Now - topical environmental issues of interest to naturalists
Book reviews

British Naturalist

British Naturalist is the official journal of the British Naturalists' Association. It offers a way for branch leaders to communicate with their members, listing branch activities and natural history notes. It contains the BNA Events Diary, and is published three times a year.
