BNA Young Naturalists’ Training Fund

The British Naturalists’ Association (BNA), founded in 1905, has established the Fund to be able to operate a training scheme for young naturalists, to hold training days and special events, and to fund the publication of Young Naturalists’ training booklets, Young Nats’ website pages and other facilities. BNA Young Naturalists’ Training Days are being organised and held by BNA both locally by BNA Branches and nationally by BNA. These events are also being organised in co-operative ventures with youth organisations such as the Scouting movement and schools. Certificates are awarded by BNA for successful completion by young naturalists of a training day or project.

The British Naturalists’ Association is an educational natural history charity that tries to stimulate an involvement in practical natural history in all ages and its BNA Young Naturalists’ Training Fund is enabling it to further this work with keen young naturalists.

We need your help, for BNA is run entirely by volunteers and has limited resources. Any donations that you can give to this dedicated fund will be used in furthering the training of young naturalists to improve the understanding of the natural world for a new generation. The Association needs your support too and so we ask that you allow 10% of your donation to go to the Association for its general purposes.

I enclose £……………… and desire (but without imposing any obligation on British Naturalists' Association) that 90% of this sum be allocated to the BNA Young Naturalists’ Training Fund and that the remaining 10% of this sum be used by British Naturalists’ Association for its general purposes.
