ON SATURDAY, 12th JULY

The venue provides 16 acres of historic gardens containing an abundance of wildlife opportunities including pools with great crested newts, mosses, lichens, liverworts, log-piles with fungi and invertebrates.  The underground Bear-Pit is an amazing habitat with brown long ear bats, spiders, hibernating herald moths and much more

ON SUNDAY, 13th JULY

S.Yorks Branch Chairman, Steve Rutherford will lead a field trip around nearby  RSPB Old Moor Nature Reserve

The centre is beautifully located in the rural Estate village of Wentworth, South Yorkshire, literally five minutes from J35 of the M1 and within easy reach of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

Parking is no problem either with free facilities for hundreds of vehicles, in a tree-fringed car park
