Jordan’s are proud to be supporters of the British
Naturalists’ Association, and act in partnership with the Association
to enhance the condition of the British countryside and its wildlife.
Conservation Grade was originally launched by Bill Jordan in 1985.
Conservation Grade farmers use 10% of their land directly to the
benefit of wildlife by planting wildflowers for insects and crops
to give birds food on the farm, creating wildlife habitats for bats,
skylarks, bumblebees and other species, encouraging the natural
regeneration of endangered cornfield plants, and preserving existing
special habitats such as ponds and ancient woodlands on farmland.
